Day 2: Church at Nairobi Chapel

Today we attended church at Nairobi Chapel. We had a great time worshiping together. The worship was energetic and joyful. It was good to see many people that I had met last time I was there. At the service, they celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Logos Scholarship (which I wrote about yesterday- click here to read) program and graduated over 100 students. Pastor Collins, I am staying with, delivered a powerful message on the cross.

In the afternoon we returned home with our host families to enjoy a meal and fellowship. I had a lot of good conversation with Collins and his wife. We covered a lot of topics from cultural dynamics to church planting to sports. Now it's time to sleep. We will need our rest, tomorrow we start setting up a library.
