Mexico Day 6

Last night we had a special time of worship and prayer with the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Worship School in Cancun. It was a great time of community and worship with people from Germany, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and all over the US. Our time of worship was a fitting end to a long day of work pouring concrete.

Tomorrow will be a day of relaxation and reflection. We will spend some time at the beach and then gather as a team for a debrief time. It is always good to look back on what God has done and to hear from each person what God has been doing in them.

(Now writing a few days later)
Our time of sharing was a powerful one. God has answered our prayers. He has done something amazing in and through each team member.

Joel shared last night that he thought he was working hard in school, but his teachers always told him he could do a little better. Now after having been on this trip and worked hard on building homes he know that he can work harder and he will work harder when he gets back to school.
Wow, I was blown away at how perceptive this amazing 10 year old is.

We are almost home now. We just wrapped up a discussion of how to adjust as we head back home. Our hope as leaders is that this trip will not end with us arriving home. We hope that students will live the rest of their lives on mission for God as a result of what he did in their lives through this amazing week.

Thank you so much for your prayers. They were felt and had a greater impact than you will ever know.
