Mexico Day 3

A Drama at the rehab center
Last night we had an incredible night of ministry at a rehab center. The team did an great job sharing thought provoking dramas and personal testimonies. I was so proud of how the team ministered. After the program we had many good conversations with the people and were able to pray for many.

I had a conversation with Allen who you can keep in your prayers. Allen is a German/Mexican. Born in Mexico, but lived most of his life in Germany. After his fathers death his mother moved back to Mexico and three years ago he moved back here to take care of her. He struggled with the transition back to Mexican culture and after hitting rock bottom one night he drove himself to the rehab center. He said that he had never taken time to really seek out what God is all about, but during his time at rehab center he has been reading his Bible and asking God and the rehab centers pastor a lot of questions. I tried to encourage him as he seeks God. I had the opportunity to pray for him and told him I would keep his battle with addiction and search for God in my prayers.
Jacob also had a good conversation with a guy named Eduardo. A young man who had only been in the rehab center a few days. You can keep Eduardo in your prayers as well

Worship at Tree of Life
This morning we went to a church called the Tree of Life. It was a wonderful gather of diverse people. The entire service was in both english and spanish. The pastor gave a very encouraging word on prayer, which was a great follow up for our team on Pastor David's message last week.
