As parents our job is to protect and provide for our kids. We should seek to keep our kids from harm as well as give them guidance on how to avoid things that may be harmful to them. We also seek to provide the essentials of life and life lessons that will guide our kids for years to come. This all takes faith. At some point our little babies head off to kindergarten, middle school, high school, college, & life. Throughout these times as our children become more independent, we pray for them and trust God to protect them and remind them of what is most important. Letting go isn’t easy, something might happen. They might encounter a situation for which they are not ready. My encouragement is for you to be a diligent parent, but remember as you release your kids God loves the even more than you do.
