Today was another day with a lot of driving. We did get to see some amazing sights along the way. First we saw the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Hoover Dam was an impressive sight. Lake Mead's water level was unbelievably low. It is at only at 35% of what it normally is. Some of the permanent docks looked more like high dives. 
Late in the afternoon we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon. It was amazing! The size of it was unbelievable. Pictures don't do it justice. We spent a while just looking at the canyon as we walked the trails along the edge. As we were getting ready to leave smoke from a nearby forest fire blew into the Canyon making for a unique view and hazy pictures.
Tomorrow is another day and another adventure!
