We made it! Today, after almost two weeks of traveling we finally made it to the Pacific ocean! This morning we left Yosemite and this afternoon we were in Los Angeles putting our feet in the Ocean. While in the LA area we met up with some friends from college, Jerry & Michelle Browne. Jerry and Michelle work with the student at their church and it was good to catch up with them and hear about their ministry.
From there we went to a Dodgers game. It was a good game that ended with a walk off home run in the 12th inning. Unfortunately we were not there to see it. It started raining some time in the 8th inning and we hung around till the 11th when we decided to head to San Diego where we were spending the night. It's funny, I had always heard about the weather in Southern California and how it never rains and yet on our first night there it rained for 3 plus inning of the the baseball game and half the drive to San Diego. We are glad to finally be here and looking forward to the adventures that we will have in San Diego.
