Common Parenting Mistakes & How to Overcome Them

A while back I was listening to a podcast where Tim Elmore the president of Growing Leaders was sharing a lot of good parenting advice. You can find that and other great podcasts at the link above. In the podcast Tim talks about youth sports, and how parents can best build into their children through sports. He also shares four common mistakes that parents make as they lead their children. I found these four categories of mistakes very interesting and challenging. I love to know what you think.

The mistakes are:
1. We risk too little.
2. We rescue too quickly 
3. We rave to easily
4. We reward too frequently
